2010-01 Charity Basketball Game

On Tuesday July 28, 2009 tragedy struck the on the Northeastside of Indianapolis. A serious apartment fire took the life of 5 year old Annesha Wilson. Annesha will always be remembered for her beautiful smile and loving personality. The loss of Annesha has devastated her family and the community. Since this tragic loss, Annesha’s family has struggled to recover from the loss and the fire that took Annesha and all of their possessions.

In an attempt to help this remarkable family have a place to call home once again, the Indiana Pacers and various public safety agencies teamed up for an amazing afternoon of fellowship on the basketball court. The Indiana Pacers Celebrity Team, coached by Indiana Pacers standout Earl Watson will take on Annesha’s Angels. The winner in all of the this was the memory of Annesha and the needed support for her family.

2010-02-03 David Edwards Memorial

David Edwards was both a volunteer and career member of CVFD and LTFD. He also served as EMS Division Chief. During a structure fire in 1988, he died when the floor beneath him collapsed. Each year, we remember his sacrifice with a graveside ceremony.

2010-03-12 Annual Banquet

The CVFD/LTFD/CVFDA annual banquet was held March 12, 2010 at the Marriott Hotel at Keystone. Congratulations to all this year's award winners!
